Drill Bushing Tray Covers Update

Product Overview

We have created Drill Bushing Tray Covers in response to customer requests for a way to protect, retain, and contain drill bushings in standard trays.

Development and Implementation

We developed Tray Covers to securely fit over the Drill Bushing Tray, keeping each drill bushing in place during storage and transport. This resolve customer issues. Over the past year, these tray covers have become standard with Drill Bushing Sets, improving reliability and convenience for customers.

Design Evolution

These original tray cover, made of PETG plastic, often cracked at the end tab. After noting the problem, these covers are now produced from Thermoplastic Polymer (TPU). This material offers better flexibility, durability, and resistance to cracking and wear.

The three photos show the Tray Cover used with the 27 Piece OD Drill Bushing Set. Its simple design and advanced material provide durable protection, helping prevent bushings from falling out if the tray tips over.

If you received a set with the early release cover made from a different material, although rare, you may have experienced cracked mounting tabs. To order a new or replacement cover, please see the offer below.
