Special Air Services-Canada Inc. Part Number 9536925-201 is a newly designed and manufactured Mini Drill Block for use with a Slip Fit Drill Bushing, helping create accurately positioned fastener holes at 90 degrees to a surface.

We designed and produced these Mini Drill Blocks primarily for structural craftspeople in the aerospace industry. Experience has shown, however, that these tools are also used in many other industries.

The design was developed in response to customer requests and suggestions from users who have relied on our tools for decades.

The block combines a compact, lightweight form with precision machining to close tolerances (±0.001), creating an ergonomic tool that is easy to handle and features a grooved gripping band on its upper sides.

Although this Mini Drill Block is designed specifically for SAS-Canada Slip Fit Drill Bushings, it also provides excellent holding and alignment for most manufacturers’ slip-fit drill bushings with a 0.500” outside diameter. (Slip Fit Drill Bushings are sold separately or in sets.)

The Mini Drill Block is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and anodized after machining for wear and corrosion resistance. Its red finish makes it highly visible when used in, on, or near aircraft.

A set screw and stainless-steel Threaded Insert are installed to retain the drill bushing in the block during use. Each unit includes a standard hex Allen key.

Its compact design allows use in tight spaces where fasteners, skin-thickness transitions, or laps may prevent the use of a larger drill bushing block.

Each Mini Drill Block is engraved with a part number and serial number. The serial number may be useful in tool-control environments.
