Product Description

The 8 Piece OD Drill Bushing Set (Transfer Bushing), identified by part number 9536797-008 R3, includes eight bushings in the following sizes: 0.1285, 0.159, 0.1875, 0.250, 0.3125, 0.3750, 0.4375, and 0.5000.

Material and Precision

Each bushing is carefully machined from O-1 tool steel, achieving a precise tolerance of ±0.001″. After machining, the bushings are heat treated and then tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 58 or greater, ensuring durability and long-term performance.

Tray Construction and Finish

The tray for the bushing set is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, which is then anodized to produce a distinctive red color. This anodizing process enhances both corrosion and scratch resistance, contributing to the set’s longevity and professional appearance.

Identification Features

For ease of use, the outside diameter of each bushing is laser engraved onto the head of the bushing. Additionally, the corresponding diameter is laser engraved next to each respective hole in the tray, providing clear identification and organization.
